FAQ
WE LIVE IN “X” DO YOU COME TO OUR AREA?
We service all of Rhode Island and the majority of Massachusetts. The easiest way to find out if we service your area would be to call us now or send us an email.
I DON’T KNOW IF THERE IS OIL IN MY TANK.
Determining the amount of heating oil in your oil tank is crucial. Most above ground home heating oil tanks will have a gauge on top. On the off chance your tank does not have a gauge, we will have to check the fuel level manually. Call for more information.
WHAT DOES “ABOVE GROUND OIL TANK” MEAN?
The term “above ground oil tank”, opposed to underground, would be any heating oil tank that is above the earth’s surface. That old heating oil tank in your basement would be considered an above ground heating oil tank.
The most common locations for above ground heating oil tanks are:
- Basement
- Garage
- Outside of Home
However, they can also be under a porch, or within an enclosure. If you have any questions regarding your heating oil tank or its placement give us a call at your convenience.
MY OIL TANK WILL NOT FIT OUT THE DOOR/UP THE STAIRS.
We have safely removed over 500 above ground home heating oil tanks throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We have been able to do so by cutting each tank on site to ensure safe passage through your home. Your initial apprehension is understandable.
Rest assured it is much safer than the alternative. Trying to remove a home heating oil tank in one piece is dangerous and unpredictable. Cutting and cleaning the tank before removal will eliminate the possibility of spills or mess.
We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee your home will be left in the same condition or better than when we arrived.
Check out our Oil Tank Removal services, it outlines the entire oil tank removal process.
MY HEATING OIL TANK IS BEHIND A WALL OR IN A CRAWL SPACE. CAN YOU REMOVE IT?
If your home heating oil tank is located in a spot that either limits or restricts access to the tank or our ability to stand up, there may be an additional fee for the removal.
If the tank is behind a wall, in a crawl space or under something the removal will be much more difficult than usual.
